Patients
Thank you for choosing to see one of our doctors. Below is information for new patients.
Office Hours
The office is open from 8:30 am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday. Patients are seen by appointment only. We will try to honour your scheduled appointment because we value your time. Please understand that medical emergencies do occur and in these circumstances we ask for your consideration.
If you cannot keep an appointment, we request that you give 24 hours notice to the office. This makes it possible for us to give the appointment to another patient.
Appointments
Please arrive at our rooms 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment time to complete new patient paperwork. You will be seen by our orthoptist for initial workup. Following this, the doctor will see you. Your appointment may last up to 2 to 3 hours as you may require additional tests and/or have your pupils dilated. This will make your eyes more light sensitive and your ability to focus or drive may be affected. We suggest that you bring sunglasses with you. The effects of the drops usually wear off within two hours but this will vary from person to person.
Please ensure that you bring the following to the appointment:
-
A current referral from your GP or Optometrist
-
Medicare and Private health fund cards
-
A current pension card if you have one
-
Your current glasses (distance and near)
-
A current list of medications
